ACTIVITY 12 – Oscilloscope and Power Supplies

What You Need
• Oscilloscope
• Stabilised Power Supply
• Standard Power Supply
• Battery in Holder

What To Do
Set the oscilloscope to produce a stable, horizontal trace.
Connect the power supplies and battery in turn to the oscilloscope. Complete the diagrams below to show the traces traces when you used:
• Battery / Battery -connections reversed
• Standard PSU (ac) / Standard PSU (dc)
• Standard PSU (dc) – connections reversed / Stabilised PSU
