ACTIVITY 6 – Clock Pulse Generator
A clock pulse generator produces regular voltage pulses, the electronic equivalent of clock ticks.

What You Need
• Standard Power Supply
• Alpha Kit: power supply regulator board
• Signal Potentiometer
• Variable Resistor
• 1000 μF Capacitor
• Schmitt Inverter
• Lead

What To Do
• Build the circuit shown below.
• If the clock pulse generator is working, the LED indicator on the inverter board should flash
• The circuit is the basis for several activities towards the end of Standard Grade Physics: Electronics Section.
